The Life and World of Jesus ~ A Holy Land Pilgrimage

May 3-15, 2010, Anglican pilgrims will be visiting the holy sites in Israel. Our senses will be awakened to the land God gave to Abraham and his descendants; where Saul, David and Solomon reigned; and where the Incarnate Son of God was born, lived, ministered, suffered, died and rose from the grave. Our understanding of the ancient civilizations of Assyria, Babylon, Greece and Rome will deepen. Our appreciation of the present Israeli, Christian and Islamic cultures in the Holy Land will inform our prayers and put the "daily news" in the context of the Good News in Jesus Christ. Once you have been to the Holy Land, you never read the Bible the same way again. The hosts for the pilgrimage are Fr. Stan and Eileen Burdock, Good Shepherd Anglican Church, San Angelo, Texas. Guide and Pilgrimage Arrangements are through Shoresh Ministries in Israel, an outreach of Christian Mission To The Jews. We will stay at the Christ Church (Anglican) Guest House in the "old city" of Jerusalem for most of our time there. Pray about participating. This investment in your spiritual life and learning will last a life time, and beyond! Brochures may be obtained by email attachment, or mailed. For more information contact:
