World Mission Day 2010

At the Anglican Church in North America Council Meeting in December 2009, Archbishop Robert Duncan announced the first World Mission Day for the new province. He said "The coming together of the Anglican Church in North America presents an unparalleled opportunity for us to begin our life together with new patterns and commitments to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Therefore, I am asking that the Last Sunday after Epiphany be observed each year as World Mission Sunday. In 2010 that day will be Sunday, February 14. On that day I am asking all ACNA churches to highlight this call to world mission through prayers, testimonies, stewardship and education."  The Anglican Relief and Development Fund is pleased to provide several resources for Mission Day 2010, including Speaker Notes, a World Mission Meeting Flyer, a World Mission Meeting Participant Worksheet, a Liturgy for World Mission, and Litany and Prayers of the People.
